With a stop at G, quite a pressure can be obtained. The drawing at H shows one method of fastening the glass jars to the base. They should be held firmly, rubber bands underneath will prevent leakage. J is an extra piece of wood screwed to the base, after connecting outlet E and inlet F by a groove in the bottom of the base, as can be seen by the drawing. All the places of joining on the walking beam can be fastened with screws and washers and should work freely.
