upright about 71/2 inches from the top, bore a slanting hole with a 12/16-inch auger-bit, where the sand runs out.
The wheel is made of two pieces of 1/4-inch wood 6 inches in diameter. These are separated by a piece of 3/4 by 3-inch diameter, which is nailed to the 6-inch circle. Divide the 6-inch circle into eight equal parts, and on each of these and against the 3-inch piece nail a piece of wood 1/4 by 3/4 by 1 1/2 inches; then nail on other large circle.
