"Here we go round the Mulberry Bush—" Again they stop and pretend to iron, singing— "This is the way we iron our clothes, Iron our clothes, iron our clothes, This is the way we iron our clothes So early Tuesday morning!" The dance is again resumed and at the next pause they sing—
"This is the way we scrub the floor," etc., So early Wednesday morning!" For Thursday they make the motions of sewing, singing— |
