ALICE IN WONDERLAND

An illustrated online version of the famous Children,s book by Lewis Carrol

Alice in Wonderland has been a favorite children's book almost from the time it was written by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson better known as Lewis Carroll (circa 1865). There has been much speculation about it from the beginning, as to its hidden meanings etc and some have even cast aspersions on Carroll. But despite all this, it still remains one of the top English language books of all time. It's sequel, Alice Through The Looking Glass never gained the same acclaim as the first book and was often published together with Alice in Wonderland as one book. The version on this site is based on the GABRIEL & SONS version of 1916 although the page numbers and layout has been somewhat changed from the original. A separate version of Alice Through The Looking Glass can be found HERE.
